Why Our Pakenham Studio Might Be the Creative Space You've Been Looking For

If you've been sitting on a business idea, maybe a pottery class you've been wanting to run, a macramé workshop you've dreamed of teaching, or a wellness session you've been planning for months, there's a good chance the thing holding you back isn't the idea. It's the space.

Finding a venue that's welcoming, well-equipped, and actually looks beautiful in photos is harder than it sounds. That's exactly why we opened up our Strike a Posie studio in Pakenham for hire.

A Space Designed for Makers and Creatives

Our studio at 7 Prompt Lane, Pakenham was purpose-built for hands-on creative experiences. It's light-filled, beautifully styled, and set up specifically for groups who want to come together and make something.

We know what a workshop space needs because we run them ourselves — comfortable seating, well-sized tables, good lighting, and an atmosphere that instantly puts people at ease and gets their creative juices flowing. You and your guests walk in and just feel ready to create.

The space comfortably accommodates groups for hands-on classes, art sessions, and creative workshops of all kinds.

What Kind of Workshops Can You Run Here?

The short answer? Pretty much anything! We've designed the studio to be flexible so it works for a wide range of creative disciplines. Think:

  • Art classes — painting, drawing, sketching

  • Craft workshops — candle making, macramé, pottery

  • Wellness sessions — sound healing, breathwork, mindfulness

  • Maker classes — jewellery, resin, leatherwork

  • Food and drink experiences — cake decorating, cocktail making, chocolate workshops

If it involves people gathering, creating, and connecting, our space is made for it.

Two Ways to Use the Space

We know that every small business is different, so we've built in flexibility for how you work with us:

Handle it yourself — If you prefer to manage your own bookings, admin, and ticketing, you can hire the studio and run things completely your way. You bring your people, we provide the space.

Let us help — Prefer to hand some of that admin over? We can help with the logistics so you can focus on what you do best: teaching.

Either way, you get exclusive use of the studio for your session, no sharing, no interruptions, just you and your guests in a beautiful space that's all yours.

Why Having the Right Space Changes Everything

There's a reason people pay for a studio over hosting in their loungeroom or a hired hall. The environment you create in matters. When your guests walk into a space that feels curated and intentional, they instantly feel like they're in for something special. It sets the tone for the whole experience, and it means they're far more likely to tell their friends, leave a glowing review, and come back again.

Our studio has hosted everything from intimate flower crown workshops to bigger group sessions, and the feedback we always hear is how much the space itself adds to the experience. We want that for your workshops too.

Want to See the Space First?

We've put together a studio brochure with all the details — capacity, inclusions, and how to get started. You can view it here or reach out to us directly at hello@strikeaposie.com.au and we'd love to have a chat about what you have in mind.

We genuinely love seeing other creatives and small business owners thrive, and if our little studio in Pakenham can be part of that journey for you — that makes us very happy indeed. 🌸
